Louise was very polite and friendly when I saw her today. She listened and asked for consent when needed. When I wasn't too keen on removing my bag, she didn't force it and did her best accordingly.
She really brightened the start to my day.

Louise was friendly and listened to what I had to say as well as making observations and suggestions about my stoma care and conditions such as the hernia I have. She also informed me I could have a stoma belt as well proscribed to me, which was a nice surprise! Louise also advised I upgrade my stoma rings to a different Dansac brand but they're one where they're more reinforced at the bottom to be more resistant over time and cover more area with a tight seal, which I decided to go for. Thanks very much for the help!

Louise Turner is our Assistant Practitioner. Louise joins us with over 28 years of working for the NHS. She began her career working at a GP surgery and health centre where she trained as a community Phlebotomist. She then moved onto working for The Park Hospital in Nottingham as a healthcare assistant, and also worked in the Gynaecology sector until she joined the Prescription Services Team in Nottingham in 2021. Louise has a keen interest in Stoma care due to personal experience caring for and supporting a family member. Louise is dedicated to helping her patients and going the extra mile to help improve their lives.
